 El Kali Gandaki Gorge o Andha galchi és el congost del Kali Gandaki (o riu Gandaki) al Himàlaia , a Nepal . Segons algunes mesures del coll de Kali Gandaki és el canó més profund del món, sent 5.571 m 18.278 peus més baix que l'Annapurna I, que la limita en un punt. Les Torres del Paine ( també anomenat Massís del Paine o Serralada del Paine ) són un petit però excel·lent grup de muntanyes inserit al Parc Nacional Torres del Paine a la Patagònia xilena . Es localitza a 150 km de la ciutat de Puerto Natales ia 400 km al nord de Punta Arenas ja més de 2.500 km al sud de la capital xilena Santiago . Se situa administrativament dins de la comuna de Torres del Paine , Regió de Magallanes i de l' Antàrtica Xilena .
En una edició especial de National Geographic , les Torres del Paine van ser escollides com el cinquè lloc més bonic del món.

L'1 de novembre de 2013, el lloc web virtualtourist.com va escollir al lloc com la vuitena meravella del món , mitjançant una votació que es va realitzar en línia , entre 300 alternativas.cims
El cim més alt del massís és el turó Paine Gran , les coordenades són 51 ° 00 'S 73 ° 06'O . S'afirma en general que l'elevació és de 3050 msnm , però anàlisi de fotografies locals indiquen que el valor és proper als 2750 msnm .

En Chistian Mülhsuser, un suís, va pujar, entre agost i octubre de 2012, tres vegades a la muntanya més famosa de Suïssa, el Matterhorn, per fer aquesta bona i bella pel·lícula , un vídeo de 4,15 minuts . Es va quedar a dormir algunes nits a 2.700 m. i amb una temperatura de -12 º centígrads. A aquesta alçada i sense contaminació lumínica el cel és una meravella. La música és de Roberto Cacciapaglia.

El riu Stikine ,és un riu, històricament també el riu Stickeen , a uns 610 quilòmetres (379 milles) de llarg, al nord-oest de la Colúmbia Britànica a Canadà i al sud-est de Alaska a Estats Units . Considerat un dels últims grans rius veritablement silvestres a Columbia Britànica , drena un accidentat, en gran part verge, zona est de les muntanyes de la costa , tallant un curs de flux ràpid a través de les muntanyes en profundes glacera goles folrades per desembocar en Eastern Passage ,  al nord de la ciutat de Wrangell , que està situat a l'extrem nord de l'illa de Wrangell al arxipèlag Alexander .

La travessia de l'Estartit Illes Medes per la Marató de TV3 és una travessia solidària, on el 100% dels beneficis de la travessia van destinats a la Marató de TV3. Neda el Món organitza com cada any un gran repte en un entorn natural espectacular i altament protegit. Des de l’any 2011, la travessia passa entre la Meda Gran i la Meda Petita, sortint i arribant a la Platgeta de l’Estartit, completant els 4.700 m d’aquest recorregut solidari. La travessia té també una versió més curta, de 3.000 m.

Swimming around the Medes Islands is spectacular. Every year Neda el Món organises a challenging crossing in a spectacular surrounding, the protected area of the Medes Islands. Since 2011 the crossing starts at the small Estartit beach, we swim between the big and the small Meda Island and finish again at the small Estartit beach. Altogether 4.700 m . There is also a shorter version of 3.000 m.

El Biluti-"El tresor de Sibèria"/The Biluti-"Treasure of Siberia"

El Biluti-"El tresor de Sibèria"  - és l'afluent dret del riu Kitoy en el seu flux mitjà, que talla les goles profundes del sistema de muntanyes Sayan (Sibèria, Rússia) .Les muntanyes de Sayan, a Sibèria es troben prop de la frontera amb Mongòlia, a poca distància del llac Baikal i Irkutsk. Una petita regió coneguda per palejar, pocs grups s'aventuren  en aquest desert muntanyós, dos rius , el Kitoy i el Biluti.
La secció sobre el riu Biluti que és interessant per el caiac és d'uns 8 km; aquesta distància es divideix dos canons i té gran quantitat de cascades i caigudes diferents que podrien ser 1-12 m d'alçada.

 Samsara és una pel · lícula no narrativa creada pels cineastes Ron Fricke i Mark Magidson. És la seqüela de l'aclamada cinta Baraka, del 1992, que també va ser dirigida per Fricke i produïda per Magidson.
Samsara va ser filmada en prop de cent llocs en vint països i es va tardar  quatre anys per realitzar-se. L'abril de 2012, el lloc web oficial de la pel·lícula va confirmar nou llocs: Xina, Birmània, Índia, Japó, Turquia, Etiòpia , França, Estats Units i Brasil i va anunciar que revelaria altres en el futur.

Samsara Prepara't per a una experiència sensorial inigualable. SAMSARA reuneix dos cineastes guardonats per les pel · lícules BARAKA i CHRONOS que han aportat un nou art visual i musical al cinema. Prescindint de diàleg i text descriptiu, exploren meravelles del nostre món, del mundà al miraculós, l'espiritualitat de l'home i la seva experiència humana, així com les seves relacions amb la resta de la natura.El terme samsara és una paraula en sànscrit que significa 'món' o 'existència cíclica', però és usada sovint per descriure activitats mundials. Segons el propi Fricke, el film aprofundeix en el seu tema favorit: la relació de la humanitat amb l'eternitat. Tal com Baraka, aquesta obra va ser rodada amb pel·lícula de 70 mil·límetres usant el sistema Panavision System 65 i utilitza música per impulsar la història. Samsara es va estrenar al Festival Internacional de Cinema de Toronto el setembre de 2011, exhibida amb una projecció digital en resolució 4K. No serà distribuïda en format 70 mm. El resum que Ron Fricke va proposar per a la seva pel·lícula: Pròleg: Creació. Partint amb la imatge d'un àtom, la vista s'expandeix fins a mostrar una pintura de sorra. Usant aquesta pintura com una mena de portal, l'espectador és presentat davant quatre guies espirituals ancestrals. Primer acte: L'esperit pren forma. Aquesta secció es concentra en un esperit amorf que busca expressar-se. En concloure el segment, l'esperit pren la forma d'un nounat. Segon acte: Matèria, una volta de la roda. Aquesta part comprèn el naixement del Primer acte i explora el cicle global des del naixement fins a la mort representats pels esperits ancestrals del Pròleg. Tercer acte: Samsara, la roda de la vida. El centre d'aquesta secció és el viatge de l'esperit després de la mort i la inestabilitat del món material. L'abandonament, la descomposició i la mort són els principals temes. Epíleg: Renaixement. Es torna a veure la pintura de sorra del Pròleg, la qual és reensamblada. El portal es segella.

Màgic dAigües braves del riu Baker, a la Patagònia( Xile)

El Riu Baker és el riu més cabalós de Xile, i sens dubte un dels més grans, també. Situat al sud de la Patagònia caiaquistes van conduir durant dos dies en pistes de terra a través de boscos, llacs, glaceres i sorprenents ports de muntanya. El color blau turquesa de l'aigua i la bellesa de la vall que captiva i et fa enamorar d'aquest  lloc. El poder de l'aigua i el desert al voltant et fan sentir tan petit i tan relacionat amb el medi ambient ... que és un lloc màgic. Hi ha dues preses proposades i aprovades al riu  Baker i tres més a la Pasqua. Moltes persones estan lluitant contra aquest mega projecte que no només inundarà tota la vall, sinó destruirà la vida silvestre i alguns dels millors llocs per practicar caiac d'aigües braves a la Terra.

 The Baker River is the largest river in Chile, and certainly one of the greatest, too. Located in southern Patagonia kayakers led for two days at dirt tracks through forests, lakes, glaciers and stunning mountain passes. The turquoise water and the beauty of the valley that captivates and makes you fall in love with this place. The power of water and the desert around make you feel so small and so related to the environment ... it is a magical place. There are two dams proposed and approved in the Baker River and three on Easter. Many people are struggling with this mega project that not only flood the valley, but destroy wildlife and some of the best places to kayak whitewater on Earth.

Els beneficis d'aquest esdeveniment van directament a la Halte Camping des Soeurs Septs a Grenville-sur-la-Rouge i Cystic Fibrosis Quebec.

Juan José Garra Lorenzo (Lleida, 29 de novembre de 1963 - Dhaulagiri, 27 de maig de 2013, fou un alpinista lleidatà, que va fer nombroses ascensions a cims de vuit mil metres, i que col·laborava com a càmera d'alçada en diversos projectes audiovisuals.Taula de continguts
Va participar en nombroses expedicions en diversos continents del planeta des de 1989, en les quals visità la Serralada del Pamir i coronà el Petroski, el Razdelnaia i el cim Lenin. El 1991 va coronar el Broad Peak, i l'any 1993 va participar en expedicions que el van dur a la Serralada de l'Atles (Ras, Timesguida, Toubkal i Akiud), als Andes peruans (Pisco, Pastouri, Huascaran i Alpamayo) i als Andes bolivians (Huayna Potosí). L'any següent va participar en la primera expedició catalana hivernal per coronar un cim de més de vuit mil metres, el Cho Oyu.Entre 1995 i 1997 va participar en un conjunt de tres expedicions, conegudes com Expedició Trilogia, en les quals coronà el Fitz Roy (1995), el McKinley (1996) i l'Aconcagua (1996-1997). En aquella època (1995-1996) es proclamà campió d'Espanya d'esquí de muntanya en categoria mixta, i l'any 1998 va obrir la via Assumpta de Lleida per coronar l'Illiniza sud.[3]Entre 1998 i 2008 va col·laborar com a càmera d'alçada al programa de RTVE Al filo de lo imposible, participant en diverses expedicions a la serralada de l'Himàlaia i coronant l'Annapurna (1998), el Manaslu (1999, 2008), l'Everest (2001; l'any anterior ja l'havia coronat amb l'expedició Andalucía Everest), el Broad Peak (2007) i el Karakorum (2007). Durant aquest període també va coronar el K2 i el Karakorum (2003, expedició Andalucía K2), va participar en una expedició del Centre Excursionista de Catalunya a l'Aconcagua (A l'Aconcagua sense gluten, 2006), destinada a donar a conèixer la celiaquia i a estudiar vies per millorar la qualitat de vida de les persones intolerants al gluten. Aquell mateix any, Garra també va coronar el Gasherbrum II i el Karakorum, en una expedició per commemorar el centenari del Centre Excursionista de Lleida. A partir de 2009 va participar també com a càmera d'alçada i especialista al programa Desafio Extremo de Cuatro Televisión, participant en una expedició destinada a coronar un cim sense nom conegut a la serralada de l'Himàlaia (2009, expedició Desafío Himalaya) i el Kangchenjunga (2009). Finalment, l'any 2011 va coronar el Lhotse. Aquell mateix estiu es proclamava campió d'Espanya de mitja marató de muntanya (skyrace), en categoria veterans.Va participar en l'enregistrament de sis documentals sobre ascensos a muntanyes de l'Himàlaia, aportant diferents coneixements culturals, religiosos, d'estil de vida i costums dels diferents llocs del planeta.Va compaginar l'activitat alpinística amb altres tasques en el món associatiu. Així, va ser membre de la Junta Directiva del Centre Excursionista de Lleida, Secretari (1991-1995) i Vocal de Relacions Externes (1995-2000); fou membre fundador i director de la cursa atlètica Mitja Marató ciutat de Lleida 1984/1995. Fou membre de la Mesa Assessora de l'Esport Lleidatà de la Secretaria General de l'Esport (2003) i membre assessor de la Fundació privada Sícoris Club de Lleida des del 2004.Juanjo Garra era diplomat en Treball Social i va exercir com a Educador Social en la regidoria de Serveis Socials de l'Ajuntament de Lleida. Darrerament, exercia com a Cap de la Secció d'Esports a l'Ajuntament de Lleida i des de 2009 era el Director Tècnic de la Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya (FEEC).Expedició al Dhaulagiri i defunció .El DhaulagiriEl 22 de maig de 2013, l'expedició formada per Lolo González, Juanjo Garra i Enrique Osiel al Dhaulagiri iniciava el primer atac al que és el setè cim més alt del planeta, però les condicions meteorològiques adverses els obligaren a esperar una millora del temps al camp 3. Després d'atacar definitivament el cim l'endemà, l'alpinista lleidatà patí una caiguda a uns 8000 metres d'alçada, a l'últim sector de l'ascens, i es trencà el turmell, restant amb dificultats de mobilitat i veient-se obligat a passar la nit al ras al costat de Kheshap, el xerpa que l'acompanyava, qui havia baixat fins al camp 3 amb Lolo González per tal d'aconseguir ajuda i posteriorment havia reemprès l'ascens per assistir l'alpinista lleidatà.El mateix 23 de maig s'iniciaren els preparatius per rescatar Garra i el xerpa Kheshap, coordinats per Sebastián Álvaro (director de a Al filo de lo imposible). Per la seva banda, al camp base de l'Everest s'aplegaren Alex Txikon, Jorge Egocheaga, Damián Benegas i Ferran Latorre, que acabaven de coronar el Lhotse, disposats a iniciar un ascens ràpid al cim per assistir l'alpinista lleidatà en el cas que l'helicòpter de rescat —pilotat per Simone Moro, qui pocs dies abans havia realitzat el rescat a l'Himàlaia major altura, 7800 metres— no aconseguís contactar amb Garra i optés per deixar un grup d'alpinistes aclimatats, xerpes, provisions i material d'ajuda al punt més elevat possible de la muntanya. Malgrat que el dia 24 de maig Garra i Kheshap van aconseguir descendre entre 100 i 200 metres des del punt on passaren la primera nit al ras, continuaven en un indret inaccessible per l'helicòpter de rescat, que també hagué de fer front a condicions meteorològiques adverses. Davant aquesta situació, l'helicòpter deixà tres xerpes carregats amb menjar, aigua i oxigen a uns 6300 metres d'alçada per tal que intentessin el rescat per terra i descendissin l'alpinista accidentat fins a una alçada assequible per l'helicòpter.El 25 de maig i davant les dificultats per a que l'equip d'alpinistes que havien coronat el Lhotse i que es trobaven al camp base de l'Everest (Jorge Egocheaga, Damián Benegas, Ferran Latorre i Alex Txikon) aconseguissin incorporar-se al rescat al Dhaulagiri aquell mateix dia, l'alpinista alemany Dominik Mueller es va afegir a les tasques de rescat, contactant amb el grup de xerpes a l'alçada del camp 3 aquella mateixa nit, que Garra i Kheshap tornarien a passar al ras. D'altra banda, l'helicòpter va rescatar un alpinista hindú que feia dos dies que estava perdut intentant descendir del Dhaulagiri.L'endemà, l'equip d'alpinistes procedents del Lhotse va aconseguir afegir-se a les tasques de rescat. Egocheaga i Nigma Sherpa aconseguiren aterrar al camp 3 i es dirigiren vers la zona on es trobaven Garra i Keshap; mentre Txikon i Latorre aterraren al camp 1 arran de les males condicions meteorològiques i iniciaren l'ascens a peu. D'altra banda, Dominik Mueller i un altre xerpa van emprendre el camí de descens al camp 3, acompanyats de 7 alpinistes més que s'havien perdut durant el descens de les seves respectives expedicions.L'equip de xerpes i Egocheaga finalment va aconseguir contactar amb Garra i Kheshap,i iniciaren el descens vers el camp 3, una operació que es presentava molt delicada a nivell tècnic i que es veia agreujada per l'estat de salut de Garra, molt dèbil després d'haver passat tres nits al ras i a prop de 8000 metres d'alçada; l'alpinista lleidatà, a causa de les complicacions, traspassà poc després d'haver iniciat el descens.

Alexandre polli equipat amb un Wingsuit i un paracaigudes, el vídeo de YouTube en un sol dia ja té gairebé 200.000 visites ...  Aquest expert saltador d' WiSBASE ( Wingsuit + BASE jump ) s'ha entrenat a consciència per aquesta proesa, estudiant molt bé el perfil del salt i practicant l'impacte contra blancs relativament petits, ja que el forat pel qual ha passat és tan sols una mica més alt que el mateix saltador.  Sens dubte, es tracta del primer home capaç de fer un salt d'aquest tipus i l'ha portat a terme a la Roca Foradada ( Roca foradada, en català ), una pedra situada a l'espectacular massís rocós de Montserrat, proper a Barcelona.  Per a això, va realitzar el salt des d'un helicòpter i va seguir una senda més o menys estable, que com es pot apreciar en el vídeo, el va portar a creuar el forat a una velocitat aproximada d'uns 250 km / h .

Es tracta d'un vídeo de l'aurora boreal creats utilitzant alambins (stop motion). Totes les seqüències es graven en o prop de Tromsø al nord de Noruega. Va passar més de sis mesos recollint material per això, va disparar aproximadament 50,000 imatges fixes per  fer aquest vídeo. Aquests cavalls del video tenen la conformació de mustang. Com que són pintats, alguns, podriem pensar que son paint horses... De fet, els paint deriven dels mustang i se seleccionen per la capa. Hi ha cavalls que són d'un sol color i es diuen igualment paint, perquè la seva descedència pot donar capa pintada. Seria un paint sòlid... Ichnusa Sardenya Sardinia
