What does? Paddling my kayak.
Where? For whitewater rivers.
A hobby? No, a way of life.
What is it? Remo 300 days a year, seven hours a day.
Why so much? I prepare to descend steeply rivers and waterfalls big jump.
Cascades very high? Small have ten meters.
It is not so small ... 20, 30, 40 meters ...

What happens then?

For my motivation, ignoring the physiotherapist and ... returning to rowing, although I sometimes hurt.
Which issue is most fond memories? Peruvian Apurimac river 270 km in six days. Or British Columbia, Stikine River: 87 km, three days ... extraordinary landscapes, bears, eagles, discover the wonders of the world! It is when I am most happy, happiness is filled with very little thing.
Not afraid?
Once I saw him disappear before my five friends did not know he had that cascade 30 meters! I fell ... They lost kayak were injured. And we were in a vertical walls towering gorge and waterfall after another ... I went alone, I walk back down to earth and I could get from the top with string.
So when you go down whitewater? Free-ride (rafting) I can make up to 35 years ... But then I'll free-style (stunts in wave), kayak polo (water polo kayak) slalom kayaking in calm waters .. .
And a living? As a sweeper, waiter, in a textile factory, monitor kayak ... Now, thanks to the sponsors that I have, I can devote all my time to kayak.
I happy?
Nothing makes me feel more alive than the kayak! The expeditions are my happiness. We live to enjoy, is not? My idea is rowing with oars and rowed .Morir made.
